ATL Micro is Atlanta’s micro short film festival. The event screens films under six minutes and draws work from Georgia filmmakers and indie creators from around the world.

ATL Micro Short Film Festival is Atlanta’s festival dedicated to films under six minutes. Now in its 3rd year, the event highlights fast, creative storytelling from Georgia filmmakers and from the wider indie film community. The goal is simple. Give short form filmmakers a focused place to screen their work in Atlanta.
Each May, ATL Micro screens narrative shorts, comedies, dramas, horror, documentaries, animation, experimental work, and micro shorts that don’t fit standard categories. Big ideas, small runtimes. Films that move fast and leave a strong impression.
Filmmakers submit to ATL Micro because the audiences are engaged and the screenings stay packed. The festival is part of the Atlanta Film Series, so filmmakers get visibility within a larger network of Georgia film festivals. The event also includes Q&A sessions, meetups, and ways to connect with other directors working in short form storytelling.
